Governance
As Trustees our overarching aim is to ensure that the children in our school are able to achieve to the best of their ability. Trustees come from every walk of life and are charged with the role of acting in the best interests of the children attending the Academy.
The role of the Trustee is a strategic one, they are responsible for the conduct of the school and must seek to achieve the highest standards of educational achievement.

Trustees;

Establish the academy vision and set the purpose and aims, within an agreed framework.

Appoint and Performance manage the Headteacher.

Delegate the Leadership and Management of the school to the Headteacher.

Agree the Academy Improvement Strategy, which includes setting targets with supporting budgets and staffing structures

Monitor and evaluate the work of the Academy by reviewing performance, policy effectiveness, progress towards targets and the overall effectiveness of the improvement strategy.
